CRITIC REVIEWS

Consequence of Sound

Lost Sirens may not “stay with you ‘til Hell freezes over,” but long-standing fans are sure to rejoice in this welcome blast from the past.

70
PopMatters

Lost Sirens has none of the misguided attempts at then-contemporary radio pop that marred its parent album.

68
Pitchfork

As an album, Lost Sirens isn't at all an embarrassment: it's a document of a band whose range and reach, rather than power, are what has been diminished.

60
NME

It’s safe to say ‘…Sirens’ Call’ itself, while it has its moments, is no-one’s favourite New Order album, and while these songs aren’t really outtakes, the moments here are fewer.

50
A.V. Club

The good news is that these songs are no worse than any on Waiting; the bad news is that they’re no better, either.

40
No Ripcord

Anyone expecting some sort of lost treasure in this collection will be let down.

The Lost Sirens waited on a dusty shelf for nearly eight years until we heard their call, through this, rather unnecessary collection of stock from their previous formation.
