I didn’t know this was dropping today, but it’s cool that we finally got it. It’s kinda as good as I expected it to be, but it’s cool to see G Rap still rapping, and he still sounds really good on the mic too. Born Hustler and Born N Raised are my favorites, and the majority of the album is kinda average.
Favorite track: Born N Raised
Kool G Rap does his thing surprisingly well over a mix of old-school and more modernised beats that vary from triumphant (see the opener) to laid-back (see the Nujabes-esque 'Never Be'). The features and hooks are a bit hit or miss but, overall, I'm pleasantly surprised with how this turned out.
