There isn’t much that can be said about Beggars Banquet that hasn’t been said already. It’s classic Rolling Stones showcasing their most recognizable sound and including some of their most recognizable songs.

While I personally LOVED the increasingly experimental sounds for the Stones 3 previous albums, Beggars Banquet marked the return to roots rock with absolutely stunning results. This album was preceded by the single "Jumpin' Jack Flash" which is an absolutely essential Stones song. This is the last album release while Brian Jones was still alive, although he did contribute to a couple of songs on Let It Bleed.
