Nessa Barrett is another “lowercase” aesthetic alt artist who sounds like Billie Eillish. I knew her from La Di Die and I fucking hated that song. Knowing her status with TikTok songs, I was expecting the worst, but I came away with some positives.

Nessa Barrett's first full-length album is interesting to say the least. In general, it's just a pretty average album with a few good songs, about like what you'd expect. Some of the themes are repetitive and oversaturated, and I suppose that is what makes 'young forever' uninteresting to many. Personally I loved 'lovebomb' and the lead single 'die first' and I think Nessa delievered what she was able to with this, given her troubled mental health and other factors.
