🤍TRASH SATURATED IRIDESCENT SUGAR #1🤍

Ok, this one is kinda "trash".

Well, how about this? I've never listened to any BH album outside of GINGER yet, so the urge to listen to them kept growing and now it's time to give them a full discog dive, since they sound extra-fun all the time. Also, i'll include Kevin's solo stuff, as well as Ameer Van's EP, even if he isn't in the group anymore.

ALL-AMERICAN TRASH is the group's first official project and their only mixtape that was ... read more

Welp, time to take out the All-American Trash.

Before they broke through with the critically-acclaimed SATURATION series, containing phenomenal singles such as HEAT, GOLD, GUMMY, and JUNKY, BROCKHAMPTON first appeared on the scene with the All-American Trash mixtape. If your really wondering if All-American Trash is the gem of a mixtape that no-one knows about, then let the record show that it is all of three things: interesting, melodic, and very forgettable. The good tracks here on offer are buried under layers upon layers of crony, slog-ish and frankly boring tracks about love. Not a great start, but a start none the less.

Favorite Jams: BEN CARSON, PALACE, FLIP MO

Lest Favorite: CONTACTS

BROCKHAMPTON is known for their energy and bombastic style ... there is literally none of that here. This thing is pretty dead front to back, there is so little creativity. Like it isn't bad sounding, just nothing special.

I mean, it's a start. There are some interesting production ideas and good verses. But "ALL-AMERICAN TRASH" doesn't give the members their full potential, leaving room for only two per track. It also lacks focus and the record is just a cool but cheesy and forgettable debut, overall.

Fav Tracks: BEN CARSON, BREAKFAST, PALACE, COTTON HOLLOW, MICHIGAN

Least Fav Tracks: FLIP MO, CONTACTS
