its not that difficult to wrap yr head around that vylet ponys music is viciously niche, it has tons of references nd samples from a kids show, it also appeals more to a hyper-modern gen z internet culture (stuff like100 gecs nd dariacore fall into this same boat). most ppl r neither of these 2, maybe a good chunk fall into th gen z internet culture niche, but even then when a key part of th aesthetics of th music derives from a sub-culture based on a franchise, 'outsiders' will not care or find it trivial
