Easily the best single from this rollout so far! The production as usual is amazing with whimsical strings, sparse gamelan percussion, and glitchy industrial beats. Bjork's lyrics are also very poetic and bittersweet, as she describes her mother's death and legacy. The progression can be a bit molasses at times, but overall this is easily better than Atopos and Ovule!

A song that could have been so much more.

The writing for this song is fantastic, delivering a great tribute to her mother.
However, the song suffered from incredible wasted potential. It goes though 0 sound evolution throughout the entire track. Imagine how good the track would be if she built up strings and brass and layered vocals in the background by the end. So close, yet so far.

This didn’t need to be 7 minutes long. Hell, it didn’t even need to be 3 minutes long.
