Kinda weird that their most polished and reeled-back effort would be the one they titled 'White Trash Heroes," but here we are. Not a huge fan of the change Bachmann does with his vocals across several tracks, but it does make his absurd lyrics a bit easier to decipher. 'One Slightly Wrong Move' sounds like David Byrne could've written it. It's interesting that the guys switch instruments to mix it up on 'Banging on a Dead Drum', but this just wasn't the project to win over a new fan base ... read more
