Christian ideals are the driving force here, but you could look at this as a secular rebellion against the mopey “scene” bands and still thrill at Icon for Hire’s fresh attitude and sense of purpose.

Maybe it's just me, but I love this album. Yeah, it sort of flames out a bit towards the end, but at it's best it's roaring and provocative, with raw lyricism to rival many of their contemporaries of the day.
Shoutout to @s0veit for recommending this album to me. This album is perfect with every track being quality over quantity
