[Genre: Electro-Industrial] …and conveniently enough, the beginning to my Nine Inch Nails binge!

To make things easier here, this will read more like I'm binging their discography instead of a typical genre quest review so writing this is less confusing.

I imagine this is what a satanic rave sounds like.

Even though I do love NIN, Pretty Hate Machine doesn't really do much for me besides the obvious banger "Head Like a Hole" (and "Sin" is pretty solid also).

The Nine Inch Nails debut album is a musical powerhouse!

It’s honestly quite difficult for me to picture this as Nine Inch Nails’ debut album, mostly because this feels like such a focused, detailed and very inventive release right off the bat!

It’s not Nine Inch Nails at their most ambitious or industrial, but it’s undoubtedly a fascinating album, with elements of synth punk combined with more rough, hard-hitting industrial musical passageways. ... read more

POWERHOUSE!

Now we jump back into the more dated stuff on the list, but this one is pretty outstanding.

What really adds to this album is not only the industrial sound, but the world-ending tension and the firepower sound that drives the engine of the record makes it something truly exciting.
