Distorted Sound
Every song has the quality to stand tall on its own accord but together they are a powder-keg ready to take the world by storm.

Kerrang!

This is a version of Bury Tomorrow free from their shackles, attacking with the precision of an apex predator and mastering their art with sublime execution. The Seventh Sun is a glorious new dawn.

Upset
With support slots at Ally Pally in their sights, it’d be no surprise if behemoth-sized bangers like ‘Begin Again’ and ‘Boltcutter’ see Bury Tomorrow headlining venues of that size by the end of ‘The Seventh Sun’. If this was a pizza-eating competition, consider us pleasantly stuffed.

Bury Tomorrow's seventh album The Seventh Sun is their biggest sounding yet - can they replicate the crossover success of Architects and Bring Me The Horizon?

I was quite excited about this since I quite liked Cannibal, it had some great Melodic Metalcore highlights, and some of the singles for this album were pretty solid. So was it good?

It started off good but got progressively blander as it went on, which was pretty unfortunate. The overall sound and vibe of this album are very generic for Bury Tomorrow, and I wouldn't mind that if the songs slapped, but only a few of them do. I mean Abandon Us is by far the best song here and that was already ... read more

REVIEW #72: The Seventh Sun by Bury Tomorrow

You have the self-titled track as the opener, with these blistering guitar chords and Daniel Winter-Bates’ screechy and shrill vocals. But the way everything’s orchestrated on this song makes the progression feel sort of symphonic, especially during or around the choruses where the vocals are stripped back and the acoustics take a backseat - or dissipate entirely. It’s a great opener, and the delivery and hook of the chorus feels ... read more

Oh fuck yeah! Bury Tomorrow absolutely blew me away with Cannibal, 'Choke' was such a banger of a tune and it's so good to know that they've continued that style coming into this release. I wasn't eyeing it too much juuuust in case it really flopped, however after coming to it now, hoooo golly gosh, this is a fookin' solid Melodic Metalcore album. Thoroughly enjoyed every song!

The clean singing is really good. The harsh vocals are impressive, if not a little stale and average at times.
Other then that, this album was a really nice surprise.
Me and a friend are going to see them opening for While she sleeps tonight, so hopefully they're this good live.

Also. Why is Boltcutters so low, that song rips.

Going to see these guys live with While She Sleeps so I thought I'd just slap an album on with basically zero expectations. Didn't expect for this to be as good as it was.
