Despite its faults, it’s a damn good record worth picking up for anyone who likes to feel joy.
Air for Free is, if you'll excuse the obvious cliche, a breath of fresh air. It's Relient K at their most aspirational, creative, and inspired. It isn't a perfect front to back listen ("Cat"'s over the top silliness is obnoxious and "God" is mostly weightless and trite) but there is more than enough genius decisions and wonderful, serene aesthetics to make up for its few misfires.
Not bad.
