iiiDrops is definitely my favorite mixtape of this year so far. The thing that stood out the most for me was the production. I liked the beats on all 11 tracks, especially on [email protected] and Money & Bitches.

At first, I didn't quite know what to make of [email protected] The beat was weird for me at first but after a couple listens, i was dancing to that shit every time it came on. Joey Purp comes through with one of the better and more established rap mixtapes of the decade with iiiDrops. Production is incredibly smooth, and the sampling is executed very well. Joey has some amazing flows on this project as well, and some fun, campy lyrics to go along with it. Sprinkle on some great lyrics, and you've got a great mixtape that could easily pass as a full record release.
