Woah

Just. Woah.

When the topic of classic rock is brought up in music circles you get one of two reactions. Either an intense and passionate knowledge of the genre. Or some kid saying "Fuck off boomer."

And I mean....sure, a lot of the genre hasn't aged the best. But to discount the stuff that helped change the way we listen to music, that's not exactly fair.

Plays first song... "awe fuck I know where this is going" Hey guys, yep thats me, you're probably wondering how I got in this situation, well it goes something like this" ok ok ok ok ok ok ok, these songs are very fucking good this entire album pretty much screams 70s perfection, and its what I shall name it, ALSO on getting in tune, DO YOU HEARS THOSE GUITARS, GOD DAMN IT, proves this album IS FUCKING BALLS GOOD

Breakthrough! Taking their energy to a new level to deliver generational ballads and timeless rock anthems.

If you don’t have nostalgia for this there’s not much happening here.

The over saturation mainstream rock and soft rock in the 70’s shows its ugly consequences with boring, one note albums like these.

listen to Rush or something.

I feel like I should enjoy this more than I actually do, seeing as though it's one of the most important albums in music history. However, whenever I listen to it, I just can't help but think I enjoy it more as an archive of 70's rock n' roll and less of a fun listen. It's got its moments, but I appreciate its impact more than I like listening to it.
