I am actually mixed about this album. It's like the equivalent of your candy bag from trick or treating. Sometimes, you get great candies like Sour Patch Kids, Skittles, and M&M's, and then you get candies like black licorice, banana-flavored Laffy Taffy, and Tootsie Rolls. Most of the stuff I feel iffy about is the Halloween stuff. I like songs like Riff Lord and Jangly Bones, but it seems too much for a First of October album. If you've ever wondered how people can have fun making music - look no further than Andrew Huang & Rob Scallon's First Of October. Words cannot describe just how much of a blast I have watching them embark on this project every year. Considering they've only been a band for four days, they consistently hit the bar and exceed all expectations while creating some of the most entertaining Rock music you'll find out there.
