The Smiths begin their legendary discography with an album that could easily go down as one of the greatest debut records of all time, and it excels in almost every aspect, although it gets lost a couple of times during its runtime.

An excellent debut with a solid tracklist and a unique sound from the start. Def a different vibe from their other material but so good

I think the instrumentals are great but I just don’t like Morrissey as a singer. Everybody else in the band is doing their best but Morrissey feels like he’s trying way too hard sometimes, and also not trying at all when the band is moving at a slower pace.
