post nastradamus nas- 2003 is something else. It's like Nas went back the time to 1994, stole the rhymes book from the 1993 Nas, and Nas actually lost his book he wrote his rhymes on around the same time in a train. Because Nas is as sharp as ever with the pen. His flows are great and his ear for beats had improved too after rapping on some really average production during the late 90s. Salaam Remi and alchemist produce a few classics. The production on get down is fucking great. People call ... read more

I really didn't like the beginning of this album but it actually ended up being good. It really gets deep with raps about his mom. My 2nd favorite Nas album so far.

My 3rd favorite Nas album. Made You Look is my entrance music in another universe where I'm a UFC fighter and a boxer.

Its a nice project, its got some pretty nice peaks, more good production, etc. I really like that I keep getting more Alchemist production. I hate calling Dance the worst track on the album, because it's really heartfelt and nice, but I don't know I am just not a fan. Anyhow, nice project, I definitely need to listen to this more, it's pretty underrated and has one of my favorite Nas songs.

On this record, Nas remembers one of the most important things about hip hop - even if it's about serious shit, it should find time to be *fun*. With only one or two skippable tracks, this is the silver medal in Nas' discog, that flexes emotion, light-hearted fun, intense drama, ... read more
