Even though Picturesque limits itself by occasionally prioritising immediacy across its short runtime, it is a post-gaze record that, subtleties aside, evokes the beauty of the Austrian alps.
Post-rock/dream pop album that sounds kind of average. Nothing too impressive, although not a bad project by any means. Probably its worst aspect is how forgettable it is, but everything else is fine.

Ok wow, this came out of nowhere. I had to be in the mood for some huge sprawling post-rock and this does not disappoint. Perhaps it’s too much of an acquired taste to go mainstream but I hope more people get to hear this record. One of the main criticisms I have of PR is that sometimes the ideas overstay their welcome.
