With one of the best opening three tracks in Bowie history (maybe since Ziggy Stardust or The Man Who Sold The World), this album may lack the thematic consistency of Bowie's best work, and it does get a little too safe for my personal taste, and does tend to tred on Lows toes a little to hard, but it's Bowie going for his well deserved victory lap. On it's own it is a fantastic record, my only problem is that it came right after Low, and some of the tracks feel slightly weaker than the ones on Low.
