OUT OF MY COMFORT-ZONE CHALLENGE
DAY 3
[Genre(s): Art Rock, Pop Rock]

I've never really checked out Bowie's music, there's no real reason to this, I just didn't really had that much interest. But this all changed when I saw his last full body of work, his musical "Lazarus". So, I had to put another album in the last that I chose myself for the challenge, I immediately thought of a Bowie album, because I loved all the music in "Lazarus".

Skrillex's Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites EP stands as a landmark in dubstep music and will always remain a large factor of my nostalgia. Wait a second...

After drowning myself in David Bowie's discography consistently over the past two weeks, not only have I found my favourite of his but now one of my top favourite albums of all time.

Trying not to write too much about it but Scary Monsters is impossible for me not to talk about.

I'm going back to being a ghost now. <3

It is the perfect blend of experimental and accessible, appealing to all audiences with incredible singles Ashes to Ashes and Fashion, whilst staying true to long hardcore fans by mixing elements from all through Bowie's career. It is was an absolutely seminal transition into the 80s for bowie, however it is a shame that his work ... read more
