HUGE improvement on this new Debbie album compared to her previous mixtapes and projects. Her rhyming and lyrics are improved tenfold, instrumentals are clean and enjoyable, and now she's finally cultivated a full-length project where her personality and skills live up to her grand statements and boastful nature. The only qualm I could see with her currently is that she sounds somewhat like Iggy Azalea, which downs her appeal in the eyes of the general public. But once people get past that and ... read more
This album is just a more fleshed-out version of her prior mixtapes...same themes of stoner rap and street haughtiness, interlaced with debbie's signature, nasal scrap chick voice. "Tell Me" is most definitely the standout track, with the lovely bossa nova sampling and the dreamy voice of Njomza...the accompanying music video was well put-together, I must add.
