CRITIC REVIEWS

Metal Injection
Obituary is a legendary band, and their latest record is one more reason why they deserve that legendary status.

If you have ever enjoyed this band before, "Dying Of Everything" contains plenty of what you rather sensibly enjoyed.

Metal Hammer

Death metal OGs Obituary deliver their strongest album in decades with Dying Of Everything.

Exclaim!

Dying of Everything, while slick and professional sounding, still has an element of danger to its sound, one that's all too often lost in modern heavy recordings.

Distorted Sound
OBITUARY don’t sound like they’re approaching their 40th birthday in the slightest; on the contrary, this is a marker for the entire death metal genre.

Metal Sucks

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. The old adage holds true on Obituary’s 10th studio album, which sees the band further sharpen their axes and ready their blunt objects.

Kerrang!

Dying Of Everything does not match or beat its predecessor, but that is not to say that it is lacking in any department, for it is a crushing slab of the dark’n’hard stuff executed with merciless precision and delivered with a killer mix.

Angry Metal Guy
The good stuff is surprisingly good and the lesser stuff isn’t awful but feels tepid and uninspired.

Apesar de não ter trazido nada de novo, é um disco decente pros fãs, eu que sempre gostei de “Cause of Death” fiquei bem ... read more

Dying of Everything encapsulates years upon years of death metal experience onto one record. A bit of this records sounds feels like it was built to be toured on. A lot of these songs are not necessarily exhilarating and the back half of the record feels a bit like muscle memory for the band. When they click they really dial in, otherwise this album is a bit of a chore for fans that may be new or casual.
