With Love From brings a different kind of calmness from the rest of their albums. It feels like your mental health is falling apart, but you're too tired to do something about it, so you just go with the flow.
Despite featuring charmless commonalities with some of today's mainstream pop, the duo's new album attains a higher ground because of the warmth that permeates works of Fleetwood Mac, Linda Ronstadt and Joan Baez. Pop duo Aly and AJ made their return in 2021 with “A Touch Of The Beat…” and they are back with another new release in 2023 with “With Love From”. The album has very warm and textured production which reminds me a lot of female singers of the 90s. The two singers have good harmonies with each other, singing songs about love and relationships in a more mature light now that the sisters are in their 30s.
