So yeah what can be said about Jimi Hendrix already? The mans often considered one of the greatest guitarists of all time and up to this moment I haven't heard much of anything from Hendrix. One of the greatest beginning moments of any album is the opening riff of “Purple Haze”. You know “Purple Haze” is perfect, I know “Purple Haze” is perfect, whatever being created the universe knows “Purple Haze” is perfect.
What I like about Jimi is his confidence. Listening to his songs, you get the sense that he knows who he is, and he doesn’t care what you think.
This is definitely true for “Manic Depression”.

(I listened to the 17 track version, the mix of UK and US version). Obviously, I fell in love with his guitar playing especially on tracks like "3rd Stone From The Sun". I'm looking forward to check out "Electric Ladyland"
