Really not as awful as some claim. Is it is br00t4l as the first few albums? Nah, but it's groovy as hell and the riffs are killer. Vocals are sweet, instrumentals are sweet, production...well, it's not their best, but it doesn't bog it down too much. Mark of the Blade is pretty underrated, and it's definitely not their worst release. That being said, it's not one of their best, either, and it would probably land at the bottom half of their discography if I were to rank it.
Most mature whitechapel project, amazing grooves, great energy when needed and breakdowns are good

best songs: Elitist ones, Mark of the blade, venomous
