My fascination with this album stems from a long-lost fascination with this band. My first real foray into alternative rock that wasn't 2000's indie rock or early 90's grunge was this band, more specifically Screamadelica. This album has really interesting ideas and moments of cool experimentation as Primal Scream dabble in trip hop and even dub, but there's moments which fall short due to just not really being that interesting. With that being said, there's some great songs on this thing, but at its worst, Vanishing Point is just a kind of cool but forgettable experimental moment the band had.
Favorites - Burning Wheel, Star, Trainspotting, Medication, Kowalski
Least favorites - Get Duffy, Motorhead, Stuka
