Bobby Tarantino won’t ever be considered the magnum opus of Logic’s catalogue but it bodes well as a palate cleanser before his junior album drops later this year.

The Needle Drop
There are several punchy, aggressive cuts on this new Logic mixtape, but the rest of it is an unremarkable fan project to hold listeners over 'til the next commercial release.
While merely a project to hold fans off, this admittedly has some fun moments. Nothing too outstanding to return to so many times however. Also "A Word From Our Sponsor" is a really funny skit.

favourite tracks: Slave II, 44 Bars, Deeper Than Money
least favourite: Super Mario World

Summary: Meh
Flexicution - 8/10, banger.
The Jam - 6/10, weird.
The Jam - 7/10, dope.
Wrist - 5/10 not a big fan of this one, but pusha verse is hard.
Super Mario World - 5/10, kinda bad and flat.
44 Bars - 8/10, amazing.
Slave - 4/10, trashy.
Deeper Than Money - 8/10, interesting beat and flow.
[91.1] Exactly. This was easily the best he could possibly make in this sub genre called trap music, and its quick jab of only 8 full songs makes it almost like an EP. Great work by Logic, and if you guys didn't think I wasn't sucking his dick by now, wait for the album review on 2017's Everybody.

Okay why is this considered a mixtape? It's 11 tracks, and 3 of them are skits or interludes. Anyways, this is pretty good what's with all the hate? I think it's not supposed to be taken too seriously. It's just a tape to enjoy (it should be an AlBuMMMMMM REEE). And that's what i took it for, and that's what it is

Flexicution: 77/100 (Good)
It's pretty good but i'm really on the fence about the whole song to be totally honest.

The Jam: 84/100 (Great)
Bop. The chorus is super catchy and i ... read more
So obviously I’ve heard all the critiques and complaints about Logic such as him not having his own style or that he sounds like every contemporary rapper of today in one which takes away the sincerity in most of his lyrics. However, up until this mixtape that never seemed to really bother me mainly due to the fact that he is undeniably a technically gifted rapper who picks (for the most part) good beats and at least tries to make an album that has meaning. Despite this, on Bobby ... read more
