The music is calculated to make you want to move your body, but McMorrow's perseverance through mental illness will move your mind.


We Move ... is a definitive step toward pop, but one that also demonstrates the Irish belter’s willingness to take risks and tear out of his sensitive-soul comfort zone.


McMorrow loyalists may bemoan the polished sheen that characterises the tracks on ‘We Move’, but there is some genuine pop-soul mastery at display here.


The songs on We Move marry his acoustic ideas with hip-hop/R&B sentiment and programming, blending the two into something new and fluid.

In a genre based on repetition, standout moments are critical, and We Move provides too few of them to be impactful. But when they show up, the results are stunning, especially the pace change of sparse and gorgeous piano-led ender Lost Angels.

I really enjoyed this album I've only recently came across the Irish artist a few weeks ago so i decided to have a listen to his most recent album. I got a mixed feeling of the styles that Mr McMorrow was trying to go with, it was like a slightly pop/soulful with an electronic components, within the piece. Great vocal ability.

Favourite track- Get low
We Move has that R&B/Pop sound that blends well with electronic and dance elements without losing McMorrow's identity. Even if it feels a bit safe in his career, there's some catchy and well-written tracks here, his lyrics are nice and have interesting ideas. My big problem with this is that you can't help but feel this is a transition record, I mean, it's great that his sound is evolving, but this feels like it got in the middle and never developed into what it should be. Num geral é uma boa coleção de músicas, embora não tão marcantes ou interessantes assim. Com um Eletro-Pop que flerta com o Soul e o Folk em diversos momentos, a voz e os arranjos nestas músicas estabelecem uma atmosfera bem melódica, suave e até romântica.
