Wow, there have been a lot of Metal releases this year so far, especially this Friday. Now, this having 14 tracks scared me. I haven't heard much Gideon before, but still decided to give it a shot, I mean I always try my best to check out new Metal bands I haven't heard much from outside of a few songs. So was this good?

Started off really strong with all songs having distinct pieces until it falls off into metalcore cliches in the 2nd half. Its at its best when it goes hard and stops trying to be deep and emotional. At its best it sounds like an interesting mix of Kublai Khan and nu metal with good mixing and punchy breakdowns.
