sisters doin it 4 themselves
This is essentially what I imagine gave Screaming Females their sound, which I had felt wasn't entirely groundbreaking. In comparison, this album is a hugely different and influential sound given that it now sits more than twenty years old and gave female vocalists a picture of what they can achieve in the punk rock scene. Consistently good throughout with enough replay value to make it through this album twice.
