CRITIC REVIEWS

80
The Line of Best Fit

This is an assured step forward in every sense - Honeyblood are back from the brink and there’s a new sting in their tail.

80
The Skinny

Peppered with catchy choruses and heroic riffs, and with sing-along moments galore, it's much fuller, better rounded and more complete than 2014's Honeyblood.

80
Drowned in Sound

It’s a weightier piece than its predecessor on the musical front, offering a much more convincing line in stormy atmospherics, but the real talking point is the poise with which Honeyblood have carried off a record on which they seem to have so completely trusted their instincts.

70
PopMatters

The songs are tighter and the hooks are sharper, yet the raw, almost voyeuristic intimacy of the first LP remains.

70
Loud and Quiet

Its DIY, post-punk sound is fresh and fun, and if the tracks are a little derivative at the start, they improve incrementally as Tweeddale finds her voice, with the final three offering a delicious climax to an already very good record.

70
musicOMH

This album sounds brighter than its predecessor, more refined, sharply focused and coherent.

I am not able to rate the album lower than 80 when the female vocal intertwines with the heavy sound XD is my weakness

This album is an incredibly hard rocker and very catchy as well. It definately starts to get a bit repetitive after awile, but still a solid release
