The 3rd 2023 release in just 2 days and it's already looking kinda promising.
Drum & Bass, Trap, Electronica, Future Bass all in 1 album... wow. This give me memories of my teenage years listening to this kind of stuff in my teenage years.
All 10 tracks are manic, hyperactive fun that sound cute and quirky while being full of energy and banging kicks throughout.

Don’t have much to say about this record, but it’s a damn good dnb project. Also getting strong Iglooghost vibes. Not sure if that’s by coincidence or an influence, but either way, I’m not complaining. This will be on heavy rotation for me throughout January.
Consistent as all hell, Metaroom brings in a really clean collection of glitchy breakbeat tracks with cutesy sampling and flare. Production is really good and nothing seems of low quality here. I don’t necessarily see myself returning to this one as much as their previous EP SWEET GENESIS, but it was fun while it lasted!

Metaroom is an artist that I surprisingly wasn’t familiar with until this review. They are from Los Angeles; they seem to also have done some composer work for the ENA series by Joel G on YouTube – but besides that, that was really all I knew. I basically went into OXIDIZED ARCHIVE with little to no expectations, but came out of it pleasantly surprised.
