I'm not sure an attempt at Hooverphonic-inspired chamber pop by Gabbie Hanna was on many people's 2022 bingo cards. It probably shouldn't have been. I can see the intent here, and it actually could be good. However, for that to happen, Gabbie would need to be able to actually deliver soft, breathy vocals and not just sound like she's trying not to wake people up. A solid track from Gabbie, and a return to her pop roots. Also a very impressive production from LYRE and a solid vocal performance from Hanna.
