Beats Per Minute

She soars above her previous albums My Name Is Safe in Your Mouth and Who the Power, delivering Internal Working Model just as she planned, with upped movement and rocking pulse, all while teaching us a constructive moral imperative in this new year. Liela’s daya feels so good.

Moss consistently retains her pop power and dazzling songwriting prowess. ‘Internal Working Model’ will crash out of your speakers, a melodic behemoth of industrial-tinted art pop.

Repeat plays lay bare a record of rare ambition and thematic complexity.

AllMusic

Though it's often a slower burn than Who the Power, Internal Working Model reaffirms Moss is an artist with something to say and a distinctive way of saying it.

Uncut
She's angry, but she's trying to offer some answers too: more power to her for such positivity.

This is a pretty good pop/rock album with a heavy industrial feel to it. Every track contains great progression and the payoff is quite nice. This isn't something I see myself returning to a ton, but it'll be a really nice listen whenever I do.
