Distorted Sound

ROPES INSIDE A HOLE bring superb pedigree and a thorough understanding of everything surrounding the post-metal genre.

Ropes inside a Hole have not yet established the tone and feel of the music they want to give us, and as a result, even for fans of the genre, A Man and His Nature fails.

Wow guys, this sure is post-metal. Gee wiz. It does it fact, do the atmospheric thing that the genre does. In fact, it even post-rocks. Can you believe it? Get this: the songs are long too. I know. This really is an album that got released in 2023.

Ahhhh yeah... this has actually fallen off me quite a bit. The music from 'A Man And His Nature' really didn't stick with me like I think I had expected it to. AOTYCORE 2023. Post-Metal.

A very unpopular album, yet very popular on AOTY. It's a pretty by-the-numbers Post-Metal album, but it's done really well. So far my first 70+ rated album of 2023!

Feet In The Swamp, Gaze To The Sky is pretty amazing, that track fucks. Overly, it's a good listen, if you have some extra time, I would give it a listen. Nothing mindblowing or outside of the box, but it's good.

Very standard for the genre of post metal but it's still pretty cool.

I'm kind of a sucker for post rock in general and this record was a pretty solid first listen for me. The forth track was definitely a highlight with its huge breakdowns and use of saxophone and everything just brought dark and slow vibes.
