Sutherland has absolutely earned the right to celebrate his success. It’s just a shame that, with 17 tracks to play with, Great is He doesn’t go a little deeper.
Great Is He gives me the same energy as listening to the safest radio station ever. Popcaan has no personality or charm and the 17 songs are mostly painful with generic beats. And I don't have a big problem with bland production if the person on the mic can bring some energy or some interesting personality that can cover this issue. But Popcaan sounds so bored that this album sounds like most of the budget goes to drake and the rest goes to the producers and other features.
Jamican artist Popcaan already has several albums under his belt and his recent signing to OVO Sound has helped to give him wider exposure, but it’s really hard to hear exactly what will help broaden his appeal because his most recent album Great Is He is not it.
