Tell Me I’m Alive signals that All Time Low are now all grown up with somewhere else to go.
About as good as I expected, some of it can have a smidge of charm or decent instrumentals but most of it feels kinda outdated and nothing to shout about.

While I wouldn't say this is quite on the level of Last Young Renegade, I do consider this a pretty big step back from Wake Up, Sunshine, outside of a select couple songs. None of the tracks here are really offensive or anything but I think their music clicks better with me when it has the higher energy that is seen more commonly on their last album. Lead single Sleepwalking has a punchy instrumental to it and the hook is great, and New Religion I like a lot for the same reasons in spite of ... read more
Pretty enjoyable record.
Tell Me I'm Alive: 7/10
quite enjoyable, the autotune during the end of the chorus is a bit too much.
Modern Love: 9/10
One of the highlights of the album, great chorus, engaging verses.
Are you there?: 8/10
not much else I can say beside I enjoyed this.
Sleep walking: 9/10
probably the best single. The writing is pretty solid and the hook is an absolute ear worm.
Calm Down: 3/10
This track gets very repetitive and it feels like it drags on.

A mixed review based on my own taste drifting away from pop-punk and just an average album. Every song felt like it had the same instrumentals over some really dead vocals. Similar to 'Wake Up Sunshine', there were tracks that did stick out to me. Sleepwalking was probably the best track and since its release a few weeks before the album I had been in love with it but to say it was the highlight of the album was quite disappointing.

This album is missing ATL's knack for catchy hooks and loud fast power-pop songs about drinking and sex that we've come to expect from them. What we're left with is a slower, less catchy and energetic, more electronic version of what we got on wake up sunshine, and god knows the electronic thing just didn't really work for them last time so I have no idea why they tried it again. But even the more bare bones ... read more
