One of the first albums that I purchased after hearing a couple of their songs (regrettably the only great ones on the album) on some of my earlier video games that I owned. At the time great, now many years later not so much.

I feel like this album was not cut a lot of slack because The Bravery originated in New York City rather than the likes of the Merseyside. That's cool and all. But the catchy new wave, funky radio-ready hooks, echoing The Smiths, definitely lead the likes of Klaxons, Friendly Fires, White Lies, and friends to follow suit across the pond. That happened in 2008. This happened in 2005.
