I can not overstate just how excited I am for a full-length boygenius project, and of the three new singles, “Emily I’m Sorry” likely justifies that excitement best. It’s otherworldly and engineered to crisp perfection.

standard mainstream pop song with great backing vocals from Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus.
love their continued trend of giving each other the front spotlight on different tracks, Julien on '$20,' Lucy on 'True Blue' and now Phoebe on this. very serene, pretty track here
eh this ones significantly weaker than $20 which is a shame considering this is the Phoebe centered track and she is by far my favourite from the group
Another aweet little cut right here. Really loved the lyrics, the instruments and the vocals were great too.
