How Pitchfork gave this a 7.6 still baffles me. No hate on Ice Spice whatsoever but this was below mid. The good news is that she has ample time to do much better. I literally can't stand the production on most of the album and the one track with actually decent beats(Bikini Bottom), the lyrical delivery is below par. I think am being really generous giving this a 40 ngl
the only thing keeping this record afloat is her flow kinda goes hard. im feeling like this is gonna be another dababy situation (without all the homophobia and killing someone in walmart) where she has this one flow and is gonna milk the shit out of it until everything is just munch 2 or bikini bottom 2. but for now it kept me entertained enough for 13 minutes to not write it off completely and there may be something in the future from her. for now it just leaves me coming out the same way i ... read more
