if she had better lyrics this would probably be a 7+ because the vocals are so pretty however i dont see how she scrapped Have Mercy & Please Me for this to be her new lead…

Personally I’m very unhappy with this song. It sounds beautifully, but my issue is the length, the timing, and the fact that it’s the lead single.

Lemme start by saying I love the content of the song and that it is very sonically pleasing. However, I have a gut feeling telling me that this should’ve been an album track where Chloe showed off a major vocal performance.

Damn, this news of Chlöe changing the direction of the album and taking all the other singles off the tracklist is so disappointing. This new track sounds so bleak. It sounds so radio friendly and safe, if not for that opening line. Seems like instead of trying to carve her way she's more and more turning into a btec Beyonce. Such a shame, because I really loved the first two singles : (

Por ser o single carro chefe do álbum é bem simples e faz com que a expectativa do álbum seja mínima.

vocais perfeitos, como sempre, mas fica por isso aí mesmo.

Broke the hype. Her worst single yet. Her singing is beautiful, but the beat is so boring, and the lyrics dont help. Its too long for a song that does too little to change. My score of 60 is a very generous one, considering I dont see myself returning to this song until im forced to by the album

chloe's lead single is truly angelic, her honesty and vulnerability come together in a sacred way with religious aesthetics, the production has created a true R&B perfection and doesn't fail to get you excited for her debut album

I'm just not sold on Chlöe's solo venture. When someone breaks off from a group for a solo project, it's a signifier that they have material that represents their own unique voice in a way that it can't be fully realized within a collaborative setting. I haven't seen that yet (potential exception with her lead Have Mercy, which I'm convinced gained the traction that it did from smart teaser TikTok sound usage pre-release).

The production is good and the vocals are solid, but the lyrics are just not as memorable or impactful as some of her other work and the track itself is pretty forgettable. It doesn't quite measure up to her other singles.

It sounds good. I like the chorus. the vocals are good but other than that not much going on in this one. It's fine.

The weakest single out of the five she has released so far, it's a shame this will be the only one that is included in her debut album. It is very weak melodically and lyrically, The vocals in the last minute are good but that’s about it. This was disappointing, she can do way better.

oh... this is the lead single? the other singles aren't on the record anymore? my interest in this record has dwindled dramatically. feel like this lacks all the character of her previous singles. a wild step down in quality.
