With a feature from Bill Callahan, the Melbourne artist’s second album showcases her evolution as a sharp, honest songwriter.

Morning Star hits me deep in my soul, that is a great song but the project itself just flows so seamlessly together which can be a blessing and a curse. It flys on by with a very mellow and toned down feel but it suffers for all sounding slightly too much the same. A double edged sword indeed, however Gena Rose Bruce’s vocals stand out and hold the tide making it an enjoyable project. Will need to check out her debut after this listen

This is quite close to being a really solid album, I don't know there's just something holding it back for me. Best tracks; Misery and Misfortune, Morning Stars
