Rolling Stone
The Neptunes' brilliant, impertinent, full-body funk is, for the most part, what stays with you from Justified; their songs, spacious and shot through with ecstatic aaahs, outshine their neighbors on the album.

Uncut
Much of the album is like 1980 revisited and updated.

Entertainment Weekly
A cohesive and fairly lean work, especially compared with 'N Sync's last two albums.

His faults - which may only exist in my ears - don’t stop ‘Justified’ from being what it is: great pop.

Slant Magazine
NSync’s golden boy has finally struck out on his own and the results are, ahem, golden.

AllMusic
Though he's turned into a technically skilled vocalist, he's still too much of a showbiz kid -- all technique and surface, not much substance.

NME

Timberlake, having failed to imprint his personality on ‘Justified’, simply stands or falls on the strength of the songs. Luckily for him, half a dozen of them – mainly Timbaland’s – are brilliant.

The Guardian
Timberlake and Michael Jackson have nothing in common but a taste for unflattering hats.

Q Magazine

He's an even limper pastiche of Jackson than Jackson himself.

Can’t believe this won a Grammy over ‘Stripped’ but anyway. ‘Justified’ has a few good moments but it seems like it’s forcibly trying to justify its existence (pun intended). A lot of the songs drag on unnecessarily. That said, it showcased Justin had the potential to hit the heights he would and conquer his prince of pop title.

EDIT: Fuck that shi, this record is genuinely great. JT this era's mainstream pop GOAT

Justin Timberlake, without a doubt, is one of my favourite voices in mainstream pop working today. If you put aside the misses that have come over the last five years or so, he's been responsible for some of the most exciting, innovative and brilliant pop albums to come in the last two decades, a catalogue including "FutureSex/LoveSounds", a groundbreaking and incredibly slick experience, and ... read more

I mean i enjoy the singles, they're quite nostalgic for me has a kid who grow up in the 2000's, but then again the rest of the album kinda falls flat and just forgettable 2000's R&B which comes off as redundant but lord only knows that when Rock Your Body comes off I am on the dance floor.
