EDIT: I was just listening to this while walking around town. It was cold, rainy, and very late so it created a nice atmosphere around these songs. It let me soak it all in in a way I never had. Rock + roll especially had a profound effect on me. In my original review, I called this EP "straight forward," but I didn't give its creativity the credit it deserved. "I think you think to much of me" is a stand out for EDEN and indie as a whole. 82 -> 94

to this day I still believe that this is EDEN's best work yet. While this EP is cohesive, each song has a different style. Like going from an acoustic soundtrack to EDM to even rock. I absolutely love the work on this EP. Disk one (sex, drugs, and, rock + roll) I would honestly give it a 10/10, while Disk two (Fumes, XO, Circles) would be 8/10 for me since it's his old songs when he used to go by The Eden Project. None other the less, great EP. don't sleep on it or on any EDEN's work

This is how I originally discovered EDEN. His sophomore EP is an interesting and fun listen, but a little too basic. It's a lot more pop-infused than his album, and at times, it consequently lacks the best part of EDEN's music: His experimental production. The focus has never been on the lyrics, but this EP still deals with fame and it's expectations quite decently.

Best lyric: "So I got ten minutes to be all or nothing to whoever wants to hear, and I got ten weeks of talking bullshit on ... read more

this was how I originally discovered EDEN: my friend sent me a link via Instagram to a little EP called "i think i think too much of me" by this up and coming indie artist EDEN.. out of morbid curiosity, i listened to the entire thing and I was thoroughly amazed.. that's exactly how I feel to this say about this little project (specifically the first half); to EDEN's production to his vocal performance, this was him at his most vulnerable stage of his career.. the second half however ... read more

DISC ONE REVIEW:
COMPOSITION, WRITING, SOUND
Emotional, Heartbreaking, and melancholic, the first disc opens strong and closes with unique writing and sound combination. The album has so much detail. The haunting synths, and arpeggios in the background. The lack of fullness in the songs is positive as it creates a raw emotional feeling. At times the number of instruments and fullness rises and creates dizziness and loss of focus. (And that's a good thing) The worst song on this disc is ... read more
