EDEN takes his production a step away from the sad boy blues and makes some more straight forward indie pop songs. The results are a little more mixed than his other works, but some of his best material is on this ep. Despite these songs aging pretty poorly, tracks like sex, XO, and drugs still go pretty hard. Circles is such a rush.

This is how I originally discovered EDEN. His sophomore EP is an interesting and fun listen, but a little too basic. It's a lot more pop-infused than his album, and at times, it consequently lacks the best part of EDEN's music: His experimental production. The focus has never been on the lyrics, but this EP still deals with fame and it's expectations quite decently.

It's not quite as experimental as "vertigo" or as gut-wrenching as "End Credits", but Ng's second EP under the EDEN name is still completely gorgeous and a more than worthy addition to his discography.
