It's hard to compare Courtney Marie Andrews' voice to anyone else's; there's a bit of Emmylou Harris, a bit of Joni Mitchell, and a bit of the First Aid Kit sisters, but this combination isn't quite like anything I've heard before. Andrews has a beautiful voice, and luckily, she also has the material to back it up on this album. The acoustic arrangements and sweeping melodies perfectly complement her voice, and she's a subtle and skillful songwriter. ORIGINAL SCORE: 78
