I think music that is simply nice and pleasant is underrated in the music review world. Music doesn't have to be this great intellectual experimentation, sometimes a bit of well produced ear candy is nice. Makes me happy, which I quite appreciate.

"Skiptracing" is a short, easygoing album filled with sweet synths and calming psychedelic melodies. Its lyrics aren't that good, but it holds up as a very good concept album. The album has stellar production and pretty alright vocals, but it isn't the most consistent album nor the most deep album; its very much a fun album to listen to - and sometimes, that's all an album needs.
