The third LP of a classic 3 album run of top notch soul (I think I'd take "I'm Still in Love with You", if I had to pick one album). Interesting to hear soul versions of country songs with "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry" & "Funny How Time Slips Away".

Three Top 10 hits on here with the title track, "You Ought to Be With Me," "Here I Am (Come and Take Me)". "Your Love Is Like the Morning Sun" is an underrated cut.
Call Me contains some of Al Green's most underrated songs especially I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry

After having listened to Al Green's sixth album, I looked for my telephone book to check that I had his number because I was absolutely sure that pretty soon I would call him.
A soul masterpiece!
Think this is overrated in so much that it's another Green album failing to convince me you need anything more than a 'Greatest Hits' from the man, NR
