So, you see the album cover, and you are like oh, this lloks like a nice calming folk record probably with some nice introspective and lyrics. Then Come Here Woman starts playing and you go "Oh wait, this isn't going to be a Contemporary Folk album". Starsailor is anything apart from a peaceful listen with its cryptic and dark lyrics and avant-garde style of folk. How is it possible that this was made at the start of the 70's? This sounds like it was recorded tomorrow. It's mysterious, weird, and beautiful.

good avant-garde folk, unlike anything else i've heard. it's mysterious, spiritual almost and has a very mystical energy, overall pretty fantastic record.
