For the second consecutive year, Jepsen has released a winning, fun, brilliant collection of pop music that deserves to take the world by storm. Side B is easily one of the best releases of 2016 so far and a perfect companion to E•MO•TION.
It’s a succinct package, brimming with more infectious tales about broken hearts, getting friend zoned, and male crushes who are always out of reach.
Side B is a sumptuous collection of upbeat bangers and moodier fare, everything tinted with just the right amount of nostalgic positivity
It's shimmering, lush pop tailor-made for these final nights of summer.
Canadian pop songstress Carly Rae Jepsen comes through with a surprisingly pleasing EP of leftovers from her latest album, Emotion.
Side B is less a collection of b-sides than it is a continuation of last year's full-length smash, heart-swelling and heart-draining pop that exists in worlds just before or after love.
The hits that sound so easy are anything but, and with Emotion Side B, Jepsen has the evidence to prove it.
Why the fuck are these B-Sides almost all of them are better than the tracks on the original. This is true top tier synth-pop.

Somehow this b side of bonus tracks is her most consistent project. It’s 28 minutes of ear candy and every song is just a hit. It’s still so sad that she is just a one hit wonder in the heads of so many people.
