Never Mind the Bollocks is simply one of the greatest, most inspiring rock records of all time.

Musically, Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols is just about the most exciting rock & roll record of the Seventies.

Second Hot Take of the day: Sex Pistols is painfully mediocre.

Sex Pistols are, arguably the most culturally influential icons in 1970s UK. They are the founding fathers of Britain’s punk movement and inspired generations of punk and alt-rock musicians after them with their widespread popularity!

Well, that’s great and all, but I’m here for the music...and the music is very uninteresting!

Number 16:

Tee Hee “Sex.” Does that joke sound unoriginal? It’s the same as the album. It’s like a Step-by-Step “how to make punk” book. That doesn’t mean it’s bad, just doesn’t make it that memorable. Uhhhhhhhh, Rock On?????

GREAT!

It's a record with some boisterous attitude, but it's an exciting record with some boisterous attitude.

Overall, this is a stylish MASTAPEECE that deserves a little more love from average listeners.

There was blood spilt onstage, and there was fighting going on. It just seemed to escalate. ... We were still playing away while somebody was being carried off on a stretcher -- one of ... read more

Very important with a huge cultural impact but the more I think about it or revisit it the less I care.
Still an essential listen just in a historic sense which I think is where a large amount of my like and respect for it lays.
